The agenda for IMO’s Maritime Environment Protection Committee (MEPC 76) in June contains several crucial issues on reductions of GHG emissions from ships e.g. guidelines for the technical and operational regulation of existing ships, the International Maritime Research and Development Board (IMRB) and the plan to commence work on a Market Based Measure (MBM) for international shipping.
To follow up on the MEPC 76, Danish Shipping is pleased to invite members to a webinar with Director General of the Danish Maritime Authority Andreas Nordseth. Mr. Nordseth will reflect on the outcome of MEPC 76 and the perspectives it draws for Denmark and the Danish shipping sector going forward.
