By signing up for the event you can nominate your own shipping company or a shipping company that in your opinion has made a special effort in relation to the diversity agenda.
Who can nominate a shipping company?
Employees in the shipping industry and business partners of the shipping companies can nominate shipping companies for the award through a compelling motivation letter. You can nominate your own workplace.
Who can be nominated?
The award is given to a shipping company that is member of Danish Shipping or Danish Ferry Association and that has made a special effort to create new knowledge or new initiatives in relation to diversity in the shipping industry.
At the selection process, emphasis is placed on how the shipping company in question has created change either in the industry or locally in the company for instance by:
- Creating a new initiative in the field of diversity by actively using new knowledge in the field.
- Working actively to promote a diversity mindset among employees, management, and business partners and thereby to be seen as a good company ambassador in the field of diversity.
At the selection process, special emphasis will be placed on the concrete impact the initiative has had on the shipping company’s current and future target in the field of diversity.
